Queen’s College Career Conversation
4th February 2022
Yesterday, our team member Alice visited her old school, Queens College London, to give a talk to Sixth Form girls about career routes into the built environment.
She detailed the unorthodox route that she herself had taken through the education system to get to development management (from an English Literature Undergrad to a Planning Masters). This opened a conversation about the flexibility in the sector, and the ability to utilize any variation of educational experiences and degrees to be able to work in the sector.
We think it’s of the utmost importance that young women are introduced to potential career paths in the built environment and are directed to the options open to them that would encourage more women to get involved in the industry.
